Afghan refuses to cease to be news even 15 days after the fall of the Kabul Taliban. Confirming the worst fears of India, the Taliban Yesterday made it clear that the Taliban is entitled to raise their voice on behalf of Muslims of Kashmir India and those living in other parts of the world. Taliban spokesperson Suhail Shaheen said: “We will raise our voice and say that Muslims are your own people, your own citizens. They are entitled to equal rights under your laws.”

1. India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 67 crore 65 lakh. however,  some headlines say ‘India may miss the target of vaccinating entire population by year-end’

2. Ayush Ministry launched the campaign “AYUSH AAPKE DWAR” campaign from Ayush Bhawan by distributing medicinal plants to staff. Minister of Ayush, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal said. The medicinal plants include Tejpatta, Stevia, Ashoka, Jatamansi, Giloy/Guduchi, Ashwagandha, Kumari, Shatavari, Lemongrass, Guggulu, Tulsi, Sarpagandha, Kalmegh, Brahmi and Amla.

3. Under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, several other programs including the launch of the Y-Break App, distribution of Prophylactic Ayush Drugs have been launched already. The lecture series for school and college students will be held by webinar on the Y-Break app is to be organized on 5th September.

5. The Supreme Court has decided to put an interim stay on the Kerala government’s decision to conduct Class 11 exams. 7. Andhra pradesh CM Jaganmohan Reddy on 03 Sep (Friday)credited Rs 1124 crore towards incentives for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and textile units across the state. This would benefit 97,423 units and over 12 lakh employees.

9. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday filed a supplementary charge sheet in a special court against a suspected ISIS terrorist Shihabudeen for his alleged involvement in collecting and supplying arms and ammunition in Mumbai as part of a larger conspiracy of the terror group.

10. The National Investigation Agency on Friday filed a charge sheet against ten persons including former police officers Sachin Waze and Pradeep Sharma in the case of SUV with explosives found near industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s house and the murder of businessman Mansukh Hiran.

11. Amid fear of the outbreak of the third wave of coronavirus in the coming days, several state governments in the country have started re-imposing strict restrictions to control the further spread of the infection. From announcing night curfews to making negative RT-PCR tests mandatory for people arriving from states reporting a high caseload, the state governments have enforced fresh guidelines recently.

The viscera and a few other internal organs of actor Sidharth Shukla, who died of a heart attack on Thursday at the age of 40, have been sent to laboratories for forensic examination, popular TV and Bollywood actor Sidharth Shukla passed away at the age of 40. He was cremated in Mumbai on 03 Sep Friday.

Viscera means : The internal organs of the body, specifically those within the chest (as the heart or lungs) or abdomen (as the liver, pancreas or intestines).

15. Hansa New Generation (NG) aircraft, designed and developed by CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bangalore a constituent lab of CSIR, has successfully made its maiden flight on 3 Sept 2021.

16. Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force, sign contract with BEL for the supply of DRDO technology-based anti-drone system. The Drone Detect, Deter and Destroy system (D4S), developed by DRDO and manufactured by BEL, is the first indigenously developed anti-drone system to be inducted into the Indian Armed Forces.

17. 18. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Ministry of Defence and Gujarat Govt for organizing the Defence Expo-2022, in presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at Kevadia, Gujarat.

19. Army to get 100+ ‘sky strikers’ for Balakot-type missions from Bengaluru : The Indian army, under emergency procurement powers has signed a contract for more than 100 explosive-laden drones — to be manufactured in Bengaluru — that are to be used as force multipliers in Balakot type of missions. It will have a range of about 100km.

1. External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar is on a two-day visit to Denmark. During the meeting of the European Union Foreign Affairs Council, has assured that India will engage with all the 27 European Union members on the Indo-Pacific.

2. The Bangladesh Coast Guard authorities have detained 13 Indian fishermen for allegedly entering into the Bangladesh water territory on 02 Sep night.

3. The fifth US-India 2+2 Intercessional Dialogue spanned the US-India comprehensive global strategic partnership, including climate, health, defence, trade, technology and governance.

1. Yoshihide Suga to step down as Japanese PM amid increasing anger over his govt’s handling of COVID. Suga became Prime Minister just one year ago after long-serving Prime Minister Shinzo Abe stepped down over health concerns.

5. In Afghanistan, a new Government is likely to be formed today (04 Sep). According to reports, the Taliban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid told in Kabul that the announcement about the formation of the new government will now be made on Saturday. The co-founder of Taliban Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar is likely to be the head of the Govt.

6. Al-Qaeda comes into open; joins Taliban’s attack on Afghanistan Resistance in Panjshir
The Northern Alliance led by Ahmad Massoud and Amrullah Saleh claimed that Al-Qaeda has joined hands with the Taliban to fight against the Panjshir resistance.
