Actor turned politician Kamal Haasan’s Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) will field candidates in 154 Assembly segments in Tamil Nadu making the contest a multi-cornered one. The 234-member Assembly is going to polls on April 6. The MNM has entered into a poll fact with another actor-politician Sarath Kumar’s party All India Samathuva Makhal Katchi (AISMK), and Indiya Jananayaka Katchi (IJK) to fight the polls. According to the pact among the three parties, AISMK and IJK would contest from 40 seats each.
