Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s health condition is the talk of the town now. The speculation on his failing health has been triggered by his failure to take oath of office in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. Reports say he is sick and in all probability he will be shifted abroad for treatment like Manohar Parrikar, chief minister of Goa.
According to reports in The Wire and National Herald, the finance minister has been suffering from renal failure for quite some time and he need liver transplant. Jaitley has already undergone bariatric surgery three years ago and he is a chronic diabetic. The talk in Delhi political circles is that he has not been keeping in the best of health for quite some due uncontrollable diabetes. If the reports are true, Jaitley is likely to be shifted to Singapore for transplant. But nothing seems to have been been finalised yet.
