Telangana Congress Monitoring group celebrated Hyderabad Merger Day today at Martyrs’ Memorial, Ashoka Pillar, Koti, Hyderabad.

The photo of Late Sri B. Baburao Varma, freedom Fighter and President, Telangana freedom Fighters Forum for Social justice who expired on 1st September 2020 was garlanded. He was the person who maintained the Martyrs Memorial all these years.
Speaking on this occasion Sri Uttam Kumar Reddy recalled the struggle of the Hyderabad State Congress for the people’s cause and Merger into Indian Union. They continued their struggle despite restrictions on its activities by then Nizam Government.
The BJP which is raising a loud voice now was nowhere during this period. Only Congress and Communists took an active role.
KCR who advocated for official celebrations and questioned for not celebrating officially now talking differently.
The Telangana Government should celebrate it officially as the Maharashtra and Karnataka Governments are celebrating it officially.
Now the KCR’s autocratic rule is prevailing in Telangana and the Telangana people once again should launch a struggle to restore democracy in the State.
