Metroman E. Sreedhar of BJP is leading in the Palakkad Assembly constituency in Kerala with over 4,000 votes.
Sreedharan, who joined BJP just before the election, has been touted as the saffron party’s chief ministerial candidate.
The Metroman was able to bag a sizeable number of postal votes and was able to maintain a leader when the EVMs were opened. According to reports from Kerala, Sreedharan has garnered more votes than his rivals from LDF and UDF.
