Justice Goswami sworn-in as Chief Justice of AP High Court

Vijayawada, January 06: Andhra Pradesh Governor Sri Biswa Bhusan Harichandan administered the oath of office to Justice Sri Arup Kumar Goswami as Chief Justice of A.P. High Court at a solemn ceremony held at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram auditorium on Wednesday. The ceremony commenced at 10 AM with the Registrar General of AP High Court reading out the Notification of Appointment of Justice Sri Arup Kumar Goswami as the Chief Justice of A.P. High Court by the President of India. Later, Governor Sri Biswa Bhusan Harichandan and Chief Minister Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy felicitated Chief Justice Sri Arup Kumar Goswami on his assumption of office as the Chief Justice of AP High Court, by the presentation of shawl and bouquet.
Several Judges of A.P. High Court, several Ministers, Members of Parliament, MLAs, MLCs, Advisers to Govt, Chief Secretary Sri Aditya Nath Das, Sri Mukesh Kumar Meena, Secretary to Governor, senior government officials, and public representatives attended the program.
