Telangana Samajwadi party condemned the attack on students of Osmania University yesterday. Issuing a statement, party Telangana president Prof. S Simhadri dubbed this as the suppression of voices of democracy on the campus.

It is very unfortunate that life on University campuses in Telangana is not as safe as the goons attack students in their hostel rooms to suppress the voices for democracy and lawful administration.
Yesterday, a university student, Jatangi Suresh Yadav was attacked In midnight in his hostel bed on the Osmania University campus by a mob of goons elements allegedly sent by the TRS leader. The unlawful act of the ruling party leaders is highly condemnable.
The attack makes the democratically conscious Osmanians and also the rest of the student community to understand the fact that a new era is being set in terms of friendship between TRS-BJP in suppressing democratic voices of the student community as it is almost a routine process in UP by Yogi-BJP government.
Osmania University along with other universities in Telangana, the students led a major movement by giving up their lives by way of self-immolation and their bright education and opportunities and achieved Telangana State.
Let Osmania University continue to voice in forging an aspirational Telangana.
