‘The common man is not common’ to Kandukuri Ramesh Babu (49) and so he truly and deeply believed in highlighting the common man as a special person and an indispensable part of the society.

A journalist and writer and photographer, Ramesh Babu strives hard to bring forth the idea that a common man’s contribution to the society is immensely commendable though it might have gone unnoticed, a lot of times.
He captured the lives of ordinary men and women in a series of articles in vernacular dailies and featured programs on television channels. Wrote 13 books on unsung heroes besides exhibiting 13 solo photography shows. His tenth show titled ‘Celebrating the ordinary’ held in the Jehangir art gallery in Mumbai. And his
13th show was exhibited by Goethe Zentrum of Hyderabad.
In 2016, Ramesh Babu founded an exclusive photography gallery named ‘Samanyashastram’ in Manikonda of Hyderabad. Here he exhibits his works from time to time in life-size and celebrates life or ordinary. Since the inauguration of the gallery, he held eight shows here. And he is presenting the ninth show titled
KASHI on the occasion of 4 th anniversary of the gallery.
Since the inception of the newspaper, Namasthe Telangana news daily, Kandukuri Ramesh Babu edited Sunday magazine from 2011 to 2016 and then worked as a special correspondent for few months. Now he is working as an independent journalist and pursuing photography with much more dedication besides making
his gallery as one of the celebrated places in Hyderabad.
