Dr Manmohan Singh is Stable, Under Observation : AIIMS

Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, who was admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi, last night, is stable but under observations for a fever.
According to hospital sources, Dr. Singh was rushed to the hospital following a febrile reaction to a new medication on Sunday night.  They said the former Prime Minister was admitted to the cardiothoracic unit of the hospital and was undergoing tests and medical observation to rule out other causes of fever. He is under the supervision of a team of experts.
Earlier, Dr. Singh had undergone a coronary artery bypass surgery by a team of surgeons led by cardiothoracic surgeon  Ramakant Panda at AIIMs.
Currently, Dr. Singh, who was Prime Minister between 2004 and 2014, is a Rajya Sabha member from Rajasthan.
