గన్నవరం ఎమ్మెల్యే వల్లభనేని వంశీ టిడిపికి రాజీనామా చేస్తూ, రాజకీయాలనుంచి తప్పుకుంటున్నట్లు రాసిన వాట్సాప్ లేఖ మీద పార్టీ అధ్యక్షుడు చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు స్పందించారు.
రాజీనామా కారణాల మీద ఆయన పెదవి విరిచారు. ఆ కారణాల తన వాదన వినిపించారు.
వైఎస్ ఆర్ సి ప్రభుత్వం వేధింపుల వల్ల రాజకీయాలనుంచి వైదొలగాలనుకోవడం వల్ల సమస్య పరిష్కారం కాదని, వంశీ లేఖలో పేర్కొన్న‘కేసులు’ బోగస్ వి కాబట్టి వాటి మీద న్యాయపరంగా పోరాడవచ్చని చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు సూచించారు.
ఈ ప్రభుత్వం రాజ్యాంగ వ్యతిరేక ప్రజాస్వామ్య వ్యతిరేక విధానాలకు వ్యతిరేకంగా పోరాడాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు చెప్పారు.

Sub.:Harassment by YSRCP leaders and certain Govt. Officials – Resignation as MLA – Fight back in the interest of Public – Reg.
I have received your letter sent through whatsapp and read the content. You have also personally brought to my notice about the entire issue. You have effieciently served as Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and as legislative member of Gannavaram Constituency.
You have mentioned in your letter that local Constituency YSRCP incharge coupled with some Government officials are harassing you and the party cadre. The said case in question is cooked up with maligned intentions. It is the entitlement of the eligible poor people to get regularisation of their house site. Accordingly, our Government has acted in favour of the poor, weak and vulnerable sections. Such cases will be fought by the party to its logical conclusion.
In this regard, let me reaffirm that you quitting politics will not stop the harassment and vindictive political actions unleashed by the YSRCP and their stooges in the Government. I think resigning or quitting politics is not correct solution.
It is our responsibility to fight against such unconstitutional and undemocratic methods of the present Government by bringing awareness among the public. Therefore, in the interest of the future generation, safeguarding and upholding the democratic values, we have to fight the injustice of the present Government.
Let me assure you, both on my personal behalf and on behalf of the Party, that we stand by you whole heartedly and unconditionally in this fight against high handedness of the present Government.
We shall give representations to all the constitutional authorities in this regard and seek justice. We shall fight utilizing all democratic means available as per the Constitution.
Always remember that whenever injustice is meted out, we have to fight instead of giving up. Also party leaders across the state are being harassed by the present government through various means. We shall fight this harassment unitedly and in the same manner fight injustice against you and cadre.

Thank you very much for giving me an opportunity to work under your leadership till now…
I have served the party at my best possible level unconditionally without any regrets n second agenda, to my utmost truthful conscience n belief…
I have successfully completed all my assignments even with out batting an eyelid…
Meanwhile, I also had the satisfaction of doing commendable n unparalleled public service as legislator…
Now, having been elected again as a legislator, me ,my associates n followers are in neck deep troubles due to the vindictive attitude of local YSRCP incharge n partisan attitude of some Government employees…
I sincerely feel n believe that their problems will be compounded multiple times due to me, being at the helm of affairs…
But I don’t want to resort to other hand twisting tactics due to non acceptance of my conscience,even though there is a very strong option…
Hence, I myself have decided to restrain myself n quit from politics to atleast to safeguard them, by reducing unnecessary friction n unwarranted animosity…
So I hereby tender my resignation for the post of member of legislative assembly n primary membership of TDP party…
