Following the Hyderabad High Court directive, the Telangana government seems to have made up its mind to hold talks with the striking RTC unions.
The government has authorized Sandeep Sultania, Transport Commissioner, to hold talks in 2 or 3 days, with the representatives of RTC trade unions.
Talks are expected to be held at Transport Bhavan, Khairathabad, Hyderabad.
On Tuesday, chief minister KCR asked the official to set up a panel with RTC executive directors (ED) to examine the demands of RTC employees as they had agreed against insisting on the merger of RTC with the government.
The executive directors committee constituted by Sunil Sharma, Managing Director, RTC will submit its report in a day or two.
The talks may commence between the Management and Employees of RTC, based on the report of the ED’s Committee on 21 demands.
The High Court had directed the government to consider all those issues which involve minimum financial implications.
