Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram, who has been in judicial remand in Tihar Jail for his alleged involvement in INX Media case, is sent back to jail following a medical check-up in AIIMS.
The former finance minister complained of stomach pain which led to his shifting to AIIMS last night. He was duly checked-up by the doctors.
According to reports, he lost 4 kgs of weight while in jail as he was not used to the food being served in the jail.

In the meantime, a medical report has been submitted to the Supreme Court on Thursday along with his bail plea. The report said Chidambaram was frail and was being given food that he is not used to. He had lost 4 kgs of weight during his stay in Judicial custody, the report said.
Chidambaram has been incarcerated for 42 days including a 15-day CBI remand. He approached the apex court for bail as it was turned by the New Delhi High Court.
