Noted historian Ramachandra Guha said Rahul Gandhi had no future in Indian politics.
Talking on “Patriotism Vs Jingoism” in the ongoing Kerala Literary Festival(KLF), Guha said Rahul, the “fifth-generation dynast” was no match for “hard-working and self-made” Narendra Modi.
In his opinion, the Congress party, a great party that fought for the freedom of the country has got reduced to a “pathetic family firm”.
He said the rise of Hindutva forces and jingoism was the result of Congress’ failure and added that Malayalis did a mistake by electing Rahul Gandhi to Lok Sabha from Wayanad.
