The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through lat. 17.0°N/ Long. 60°E, lat. 17.5°N/ Long. 70°E, Harnai, Solapur, Raichur, Kurnool, Tirupati, Cuddalore, lat.11.5°N/Long.81.5°E,13°N/85°E, 16°N/89°Eand20°N/93°E.
Southwest monsoon is very likely to advance further into more central Arabian Sea, some more part of Maharashtra, remaining parts of Karnataka, more parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, remaining parts of Tamil Nadu, more parts of central and northeast Bay of Bengal, some parts of northeast BayofBengal and northeast India during next 24 hours.
The Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over Punjab & adjoining Haryana at 3.1 km above mean sea level with the trough aloft with its axis at 5.8km above mean sea level roughly along with Long. 72°E to the north of Lat.26°N persists.
The cyclonic circulation over Haryana and adjoining northwest Rajasthan extending up to 2.1 km above mean sea level persists.
The cyclonic circulation over the East-central Arabian Sea off KarnatakaGoa coasts extending up to 4.5 km above mean sea level persists.
The trough from the above cyclonic circulation over East-central ArabianSea to south Tamil Nadu across Karnataka extending up to 0.9 km above mean sea level persists.
The offshore trough at mean sea level from south Maharashtra coast to south Kerala coast persists.
