Noted advocate Ram Jethmalani urged West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee to lead Third Front in order to “Oust” BJP from power.
It is interesting that the former union minister has advocated Mamata’s leadership at a time when Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was planning to forge a non-Congress and non-BJP federal front. Rao, on Monday, also met Mamata in Kolkatta and had a two-hour long meeting on the same subject.
Jethmalani, however, is for Mamata’s leadership. He said both Congress and BJP governments have been deliberately apathetic to recovery of black money stashed in “Germany and other countries”, Ram Jethmalani said.
According to a report in NDTV the renowned lawyer who was in Indore today called for formation of a third front led by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to “oust Prime Minister Narendra Modi” in the next Lok Sabha elections.
“They have committed a joint crime of cheating people. Therefore, a third front of honest leaders is needed,” the former Union Law Minister said.
