Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, who was admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi, on Sunday night, is discharged from the Hospital.
According to hospital sources, 87 yo Dr. Singh was rushed to the hospital following a febrile reaction to a new medication. They said the former Prime Minister was admitted to the cardiothoracic unit of the hospital and he had been under the care of Dr Nitish Naik, professor of cardiology at AIIMs.
Sources said the former PM was also tested for coronavirus. He, however. tested negative on Monday. Stating that the result of other tests was awaited, the sources added Dr Singh had no fever on Monday.
Some time back Dr. Manmohan Singh had undergone a coronary artery bypass surgery. He was operated upon by a team of surgeons led by cardiothoracic surgeon Ramakant Panda at AIIMs.
Currently, Dr. Singh, who was Prime Minister between 2004 and 2014, is a Rajya Sabha member from Rajasthan.
