Students Islamic Organisation of India, Telangana state organized an orientation workshop for students on 17th Nov 2019 at Amaan Function Hall, in order to spread awareness about UPSC, & Civil Services exams. More than 300 students attended the workshop.
In his inaugural words Br Azharuddin (National Secretary SIO India) motivated the gathering saying anything good cannot be achieved without hard work. It’s a good sign that awareness about UPSC is spreading in the southern states.
The panel of guests included Mr. Nooh Siddique (Asst. Commissioner Of Income Tax Ministry Of Finance,GOI), Mr. Mustafa Aijaz (AIR 213), Mr. Shahid ( UPSC AIR 693 ) Mr. Amer Arafath (Group-2), Br Azhar Uddin (National Secretary SIO India) and Jb Hamid Mohammed Khan (State President JIH Telangana).
Mr. Shahid spoke on “My Journey From Madrasa To UPSC” He said cracking upsc is something that requires sincere and consistent efforts. Candidates need to work hard and leave the results to the Almighty.
Mr Mohammed Mustafa explained the procedure for UPSC exams and suggested books that students attempting UPSC might find beneficial. He also provided strategies for cracking the exam.
Shaik Amer Arafat was then called to speak regarding “institutions that provide free coaching for UPSC”. In his address he mentioned 4 top institutions present in Telangana.
Mr Nooh Siddiqui spoke on ‘habits one should develop if they want to succeed in the UPSC exam.’ He shared 4 ideas on the topic as follows. The first is to study a min of 8 hours a day. Second is to read more books. Thirdly share knowledge as you gain it. And lastly take self tests.
JB Hamid Mohammed Khan Sb (state president JIH) also addressed the gathering and extended full support to those who are committed to clear the UPSC exams and work for the betterment of the society.
The program concluded with closing words by Dr Talha Fayazuddin (State President, SIO Telangana) and a vote of thanks was given by Br. Zameer HRD Secretary SIO Telangana.
