Amaravati, Nov. 4: Reiterating Chandrababu Naidu has institutionalised corruption, YSRCP has said that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has lost focus by joining hands with TDP.
Speaking to media here on Monday, Party general secretary Lakshmi Parvati said that Chandrababu Naidu government is the most corrupt and even the CAG reports have pointed out this fact.
Lakshmi Parvati alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was like a pest to the state who had looted the exchequer and asked whether anyone would give value to his words now. She lambasted Pawan Kalyan for backing a corrupt leader like Naidu and speaking against the Chief Minister.
She said he was taking shelter under a poisonous tree that would devour him in no time. She said Pawan should realize that it was not possible to dig sand when the rivers were overflowing and stop criticizing the government sand policy.
Referring to the corruption perpetrated by Chandrababu Naidu government in the new capital construction, she said a famous Japanese company went back on its commitment to build the capital as it found all-round corruption in the governance.
Even the YSRCP had pointed to misuse of over Rs 6 lakh crore by the Naidu government. Naidu government was first in subjugating the Dalits, liquor was freely available door-to-door, jobs to youth was an illusion, the state ranked sixth in crime rate against women, first in corruption, there was no place for Muslims, loan waiver to farmers was a fraud and land-grabbing became the order of the day.
Lakshmi Parvati alleged that Naidu and his son used to go on secret foreign tours to stash their ill-begotten money and that the people have a right to know where all the money went. She said a case filed by her against the corrupt practices of Naidu was still pending in the court for the past 14 years. She said reverse tendering in Polavaram and Veligonda projects by the YSRC government fetched Rs 900 crore to the government. This proved how the Naidu government looted the government exchequer in the name of irrigation projects, she said.
Lakshmi Parvati said YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government was bent on ending corruption at all levels. She said in just four months after coming to power, the Chief Minister has enacted 19 laws, the chief among them being Rythu Bharosa scheme to provide Rs 13,500 to each farmer, provision of 50% reservation to SC, ST, BC and minority communities in jobs as well as works and four lakh jobs to youth through village secretariats.
