Today, Dr K Laxman, BJP State President, visited the house of late student D Nagendra, who had committed suicide recently since he failed in Intermediate examinations.
Nagendra secured good marks in Intermediate 1st year, but failed in 2nd year Maths ‘B’.
He secured 9.2/10 in 10th class and was a bright student. His parents are daily wage labourers in ECIL, having migrated from Palakol, (Yellamanchili), West Godavari District.
Dr K Laxman highlighted the failures of the Board of Intermediate and Government of Telangana in conducting the Intermediate examinations.
The BJP state president also demanded the resignation of Education Minister Jagadishwar Reddy and a thorough inquiry into the issue. Dr Laxmal also demanded that a criminal case be filed against M/s. Globarena, the IT firm responsible fiasco.
Dr Laxman extended financial support to the family members of Nagendra and also assured financial support to his brother’s education upto degree level.
Dr Laxman also appeal to the 10th class students not to take any hasty decision following the release of results of SSC. He advised the parents to be cautious about their wards and to be watchful.
G Premender Reddy, State seneral secretary, N V. Subhash, BJP State Official spokesperson, Smt. K Madhavi, BJP state official spokesperson, and Kantha Rao, Medchal district president and other BJP leaders accompanied Dr Laxman.
