Narendra Modi will soon become former Prime Minister. The country will have a non-BJP and non-Congress Prime Ministrer after the 2019 Parliament Elections.
This was the campaign theme of Asaduddin Owaisi, president All Indian Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen in Hyderabad.
Asad is contesting from Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency and is poised to create a record of sorts in Telangana by winning the seat for the fourth consecutive time.
“Narendra Modi will be former Prime Minister of the country very soon. The nation is also going to have a new Prime Minister, who is not from either BJP or Congress,” Asad told Deccan Herald.
According to the AIMIM supremo, the Modi magic was fading.”
“When he (Modi) came here for 2014 elections as Prime Ministerial candidadate, there were huge crowds that were spontaneous. Recently when he toured Telangana to campaign for BJP candidates, the state BJP found it hard to mobilize people to his public meeting,” he said.
Recalling how miserably the BJP lost in Telangana in recent Assembly elections, the MIM MP said there was no Modi wave in the country this time round.
As for the next PM of the country, he said Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) was best suited for the job.
Talking about KCR’s qualifications to become PM of India, the MIM leader said KCR had bigger heart than that of Modi and he was more Hindu than Modi.
“There is “zameen Aasman ka farq” when it comes to Modi’s Hindutva idelogy and KCR’s. Modi’s Hindutva destroys India’s secular fabric . I urge evey Telangana voter to vote for KCR so that the state have a bigger stake at the centre after the elections,” Asaduddin said.
