Banking operations across the country have been affected on Tuesday as a section of employees participated in nation-wide strike called upon by ten central trade unions. As the All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) and Bank Employees’ Federation of India (BEFI) backed the strike called to protest against the alleged anti-labour policies Prime Minister Modi led NDA government, banking operation in many part of the country came to a grinding halt.
