After Shiv Sena now it is the turn of the senior BJP leader and former minister Shatrughan Sinha to lavish praise on Congress president Rahul Gandhi . The actor-turned politician was also critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s style of campaign in Karnataka Assembly Elections. Polling for the Assembly election was held on May 12,2018.
Sinha took to twitter to register his displeasure over PM Modi. “ It’s not at all becoming of the PM of 130 crore countryment to make mocking definition of another national political party in an election. The hon’ble PM sounds like he’s trying to teach abbreviations of words to KG children. Sir, entire country is not a schoo.” He tweeted.

“ Making such definitions(PPP- Punjab, Pondicherry & Parivar) is a form of petty politics & proves a fear falling & falling. Elections cannot be won with the ‘ART’, rather it is won by winning over ‘ HEARTS’ of people-w ith or without the most talked about & feared EVMs,” Sinha added.

Sinha sought to nail the PM’s misrepresentation of history during his campaign in Karnataka in a series of tweets.
4. You said that Gen Thimayya was humiliated as Army Chief in 1948 by then Defense Minister Krishna Menon but actually his tenure was from 1957-1961. In 1948 Defense Minister was Baldev Singh. Sir, is your advisors’ knowledge of history is so atrocious? Kindly enlighten! Jai Hind

A couple of days ago Shiv Sena party of Maharashtra, once the ally of BJP, praised the dignified behaviour of Congress president Rahul Gandhi. The party admitted that Rahul could pose a challenge to Modi in 2019 elections.
The party was critical of Modi’s criticism of Rahul Gandhi’s ambition to become prime minister. Rubbishing the Modi’s remarks that the country could ever accept such an “immature and naamdar(famous)” leader (Rahul Gandhi) as the prime minister of the country, Shiv Sena’s official organ Saamana said the attitude was undemocratic. Making fun of Rahul Gandhi is against democracy, the paper said.
“If the democracy left in the country, the BJP should have welcomed Gandhi’s statement and challenged him to defeat BJP in 2019,” Saamana said.
