Chief minister Chandrababu today ruled out his switching over to National politics. He said he was committed to the development of the state of Andhra Pradesh and the state was his top priority. Addressing media in Amaravati this evening Naidu released the details of MoUs signed in just concludedVizag CII Summit 2018. Stating that state was successful in attracting the investments from Japan and South Korea in a big way,the chief minister said a total of 734 MoU worth Rs 4,39,765 crore were signed. This,he said, would generate 11 lakh jobs. Naidu revealed that Mukhesh Ambani also had the plans to set up an institute based on knowledge economy. He also said Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) would soon come up in Kakinada.
Naidu, who has completed four decades in state politics yesterday, said it had been his passion to work for the development of the state. “ Even when the centre was hostile and non-cooperative I strove for the development of the state. I have never stopped working waiting for help from the centre,” he added.
