The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 will be 25 per cent faster than its previous avatar Galaxy S8. This was found after a few thorough tests conducted at Qualcomm’s headquarters in San Diego, California, reports CNet. CNet journalists spent nearly two hours conducting 12 benchmark tests on reference android phones the company offered in order to evaluate quality of Snapdragon 845.
S9 is the one of the few phone to use the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset for the first time in 2018.
All the reference phones which include Galaxy Note 8, Pixel 2XL, LG V30 used last year’s Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 835. The 845 device, according to the report in CNet, performed at least 25 percent faster than the best score on all but four tests out of 12. Here is the full Report.
