Telangana BJP spokesperson S  Vishnuvardhan Reddy today lambasted Chandrababu Naidu for still trying to cobble up a front against Prime Minister Mod-led NDA. Addressing a press conference at party headquarters in Hyderabad, Reddy said this amounts to nothing but an attempt to foment instability in the country when all exit polls predicted a clear majority for NDA.

AP BJP vice president Gopalji, Program in charge Vikram Reddy were also present in the press conference.

The BJP leader took strong objection to Naidu’s using of special aircraft to move around the country in his futile attempt to form a front. “Ignoring the fact that he is only a caretaker chief minister, Naidu is abusing authority and spending taxpayers’ money for his political tours,” he said.

Naidu, he said, who had to go Lucknow to meet BSP leader supremo diverted his aircraft to Kolkata when the former was not ready to attend his proposed meeting in New Delhi today. This is a gross abuse of authority by Naidu, he added.

Stating that Naidu was trying to find an alibi to save his skin from the possible inquiry into his corruption by the new government which is expected to assume office in the next few days

“Naidu wants a pretext to put forth in case the new government was to institute an inquiry into corruption by TDP government in the past five years.  Naidu could argue that the inquiry by the future AP government is a witch hunt unleashed against him as he took lead to form a front against Modi.  This is the secret of Naidu’s hyperactivity in New Delhi,” Vishnu said.

He wondered as to how Naidu takes more interest in forging a front of national parties and regional parties than the Congress which is the second biggest party after BJP in the country.

Naidu was in terrible frustration, he added.

Expressing fears that Naidu may instigate his party cadre and leaders to create law and order problem in the state if he were to lose the election, Vishnuvardhan Reddy urged the CEO of Andhra Pradesh to keep a watch on the TDP activities in the next few days.

He reiterated that the BJP would form the government at the center with NDA partners, though the saffron party is all set to win a simple majority ie more than 272 seats on its own.
