BJP dissident and actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha is all set to join Congress. The sitting MP from Patna Sahib of Bihar on Thursday called on Congress chief Rahul Gandhi. The meeting led to the speculation that Shatru will be fielded by Congress from Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituency against BJP nominee and union minister Ravishankar Prasad.
Shatrughan Sinha is a vocal critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies. He is often seen in the league of colleagues Arun Shourie and Yashwant Sinha.
With BJP deciding to field Ravishankar Prasad from Patna Sahib, the actor-politician is forced to look for alternative.

Today he met Rahul Gandhi at his residence in New Delhi. AICC Bihar in-charge Shaktisinh Gohil, Bihar Pradesh Congress president Madan Mohan Jha,working president Akhilesh Singh and Bihar Assembly CLP leader Sadanand Singh were are present in the meeting.
Congress cricles said Shatur is likely to join the party on April 6.
When asked fighting polls as a Congress nominee, the former union minister simply said he would be contesting from Patna Sahib.
He said he was still in BJP and officially not yet out.
He, however , added the he would announce his decision on the auspicious day of Navratra.
