Hitec city – Raidurg stretch of Hyderabad Metro Rail ie Corridor-3 is scheduled to be inaugurated by K.T.Rama Rao, Minister for MA&UD, IT, I&C and Minister for Transport P.Ajay Kumar in the morning of 29th (Friday) instant.
NVS Reddy, MD of Hyderabad, who inspected the stretch today along with HMRL Chief Electrical Engineer DVS Raju, Chief Signalling& Telecom Engineer SK Das, PD, L&TMRHL Mr.MP Naidu, COO AK Saini, and other senior engineers, announced the date.
Expressing satisfaction over the preparedness, he stated that all the tests have been completed on the corridor of one and a half km stretch.
It is expected that Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) Janak Kumar Garg will inspect the section on November 26 or 27 2019. Subject to CMRS’ safety clearance, the inaugural is planned for 29th, the MD informed.
The opening of this important IT stretch will provide a major relief to a large number of employees working in major IT/ITES and other establishments in this congested area and that an initial additional ridership of about 40 thousand is likely, Mr.NVS Reddy added.
