కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘానికి తెలంగాణ కాంగ్రెస్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రసిడెంట్, మల్కాజిగిరి పార్లమెంట్ అభ్యర్థి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి సోమవారం లేఖ రాశారు. ఆ లేఖలో సంచలన ఆరోపణలు గుప్పించారు. తాను పోటీ చేస్తున్న నియోజకవర్గంలో అధికార యంత్రాంగం మీద తీవ్రమైన ఆరోపణలు గుప్పించారు. ఆ లేఖలో ఉన్న పాయింట్స్ కింద ఉన్నాయి చదవండి.
1 మల్కాజిగిరిలో అధికార యంత్రాంగం నిష్పక్షపాతంగా పనిచేయడంలేదని అధికార టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీకి వత్తాసు పలుకుతోందని లేఖలో రాశారు.
2 టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీకి పూర్తిస్థాయిలో సహకరిస్తూ, తమ ప్రచారానికి మాత్రం అడుగడుగునా అడ్డు తగులుతున్నారని తెలిపారు.
3 అనుమతులు తీసుకున్నప్పటికీ ఎన్నికల ప్రచార వాహనాలను కుంటిసాకులు చూపుతూ అడ్డుకుంటున్నారని లేఖలో వివరించారు.
4 నా తరుపున ఎవరూ ప్రచారం చేయవద్దంటూ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలను బెదిరింపులకు గురిచేస్తున్నారు.
5 కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీలో యాక్టివ్ గా పనిచేస్తున్న కార్యకర్తలు, నాయకులను టిఆర్ఎస్ లో చేరాంటూ వత్తిళ్లకు పాల్పడుతున్నారు.
6 అనేక సందర్భాల్లో నా ప్రచారాన్ని కూడా అడ్డుకున్నారు.
7 రాత్రి పది గంటల వరకు ప్రచారం చేసుకునేందుకు అనుమతి ఉన్నప్పటికీ సాయంత్రం 7గంటల నుంచే ప్రచారం బంద్ చేయాలంటూ వత్తిళ్లు చేస్తున్నారు.
8 నా మద్దతుదారుల కదలికలపై అనవసర నిఘా పెడుతున్నారు.
9 మాట వినకపోతే అక్రమ కేసులు పెడతామని బెదిరింపులకు పాల్పడుతున్నారు.
10 ఈ అన్ని అంశాలపై తక్షణం స్పందించి మా ప్రచారాన్ని సాఫీగా సాగేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకోగలరు…

Sub: Complaint against the atrocities of the Government on the command of the ruling party against Sri. AnumulaRevanth Reddy, contesting candidate in the General Election to the House of People, 2019, from Malkajigiri Parliamentary Constituency in the state of Telangana, set up by the Indian National Congress, his followers and family members- initiation of enquiry and action- Reg
I, Sri.AnumulaRevanth Reddy, contesting candidate in the General Election to the House of People, 2019, from Malkajgiri Parliamentary Constituency in the state of Telangana, set up by the Indian National Congress, would bring to your kind notice that, the moment I started campaigning in the Constituency, the ruling party with the help of law enforcement agencies is creating a lot of hurdles and obstructing my, peaceful smoothly conducting campaign by interrupting canvasing vehicles on the pretext of not obtaining permission even though a valid permission is shown to them, Insisting on the original copy of the permission and holding the vehicle idel for hours together. My party workers and family members who are helping me in the election campaign have been targeted and are being harassed and their movements are being followed, these agencies are threatening my team not to campaign on my behalf but to join the ruling party TRS, if not false cases would be foisted against them. Our cellphones are being tapped and our conversations are recorded and forwarded to the ruling party to facilitate them.
It is further submitted that, there have been many instances where our followers are being followed by police 24×7 for which a complaint was submitted to the RO to take necessary action. Even then, the said illegal activities have not stopped. The police are obstructing me from running a smooth campaign, stoping sound system vans and LED vans and holding them for hours in order to make sure that the campaigning dose not reach the voters, in fear of losing the election. They are also obstructing the pamphlet distributers and grabbing those pamphlets and throwing them away and threatening them to book cases.
Further, the campaign is permitted till 10.00 PM, but the police are not allowing our followers to campaign after 7.00PM. They are stalling the vehicles after 7.00PM and not letting them to move thereafter.
It is to further submit that, even the congress leaders who are campaigning for me are being targeted and threatened by the police. One of the leader was being followed by one police constable who came to his residence and insisted him on following them all the way in his car throughout the day and keep an eye on his movements as was instructed by his higher officers. When questioned about the name of the instructing officer or any such order to that affect, he has not disclosed the same and informed as oral instructions. When tried to video-graph, he left the place informing to come back again.
It is further submitted that, there is every apprehension that our party workers and family members would be taken into illegal custody by the police at the fag end of the campaign in order to make the election campaign unsuccessful, at the behest of the ruling party.
As such, your immediate action is sought in this regard for issuing directions to the appropriate agencies (a) not to harass my party workers/followers, (b) to see that the campaigning is run in a smooth way without any obstacles from the police, and (c) to ensure no illegal confinements or detention takes place against my party workers/followers, family members and further ensure a free, fair, unbiased election and see that the campaign rights of the candidate are not curtailed.
