Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told CNN in an interview that the Covid-19 pandemic could lead to deaths between 1,00,000 and 2,00,000 in the United States. Fauci is a leading member of President Donald Trump’s coronavirus taskforce.
