SIO-T Condemns Incidents in Bhainsa, Appeals For Peace

On May 10 at 10 PM in the night, Quba Masjid located at Shivajinagar was assaulted by some miscreants. Only 5 persons were offering the night prayers as per the regulations of the government when the Imam of the Masjid was verbally assaulted, then the mob suddenly started pelting stones. Further, a Muslim youth of Bhainsa Kunta named Almas Khan was beaten up ending with serious Injuries. Almas Khan is a social worker, who has been actively distributing ration kits during the lockdown.
State President of Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) Telangana, Dr. Talha Faiyazuddin, condemned this terrible incident and demanded strict action against the mob engaging in violence. He said we together have to protect our society from becoming victim to false propaganda and communal hatred. In this Holy month of Ramazan, we are taught to observe patience and connect with our fellow people. Muslims will connect with their fellow brethren and not respond to hate and propaganda, but with love and peace.
PR Secretary of SIO Telangana, MD. Sufiyan Ali said this is the second time this year where the police have failed to maintain law and order in Bhainsa. He appealed to the people of Bhainsa to maintain Peace in the Town.
