Ramagundam, September 28, 2020: “Notebooks are the best companion of students. Use it properly and make a bright career. NTPC takes great pride being part of your academic journey by providing Notebooks, study materials, bicycles, scholarship and even developing infrastructural facilities in your schools,” said Shri Raj Kumar, ED (Ramagundam & Telangana) while motivating students at Notebooks Distribution to Govt School Students program held at NTPC-Ramagundam on September 28, 2020.
Held as part of CSR initiative, Shri Raj Kumar along with Shri Abhay Kumar Samaiyar, GM (O&M); Shri Rafiqul Islam, AGM (CSR-HR/Head of HR (Incharge)); Mandal Education Officer Shri Daniel distributed 62600 notebooks among 12500 students of 118 Government Schools of Ramagundam, Palakurty Antergaon and Kamanpur Mandals of Peddapalli district; Four Govt. Jr. Colleges of Ramagundam Mandal and Three ITIs (one each from Karimnagar, Peddapalli, and Ramagundam) with financial implication of Rs. 18.20 lakhs.
To start with, while 50 students from ZPHS, TTS-Jyothinagar received notebooks on the occasion, the remaining notebooks will be distributed in a phased manner in adherence to the Centre’s guidelines on Covid-19.
Smt. Sadhana Rajkumar, President; Smt Manisha Samaiyar, Vice President and other senior office bearers of Deepthi Mahila Samithi; NTPC-Ramagundam officials, Headmasters/Teachers along with students were present on the occasion.
