Indian Boy is World’s 2nd Youngest Android Developer

A 14 year-old boy, Shubham Panchal, has become world’s second youngest android developer, the first being Muhammad Rayyan Siddiqui (13) from Pakistan. He has cleared the Associate Android Developer Certification Program offered by Google in collaboration with Udacity (USA) to become second Associate Android Developer in the world this year. Associate Android Developer Certification is an opportunity for Android developers to present their skills professionally. Panchal is from Thane, Maharashtra and is studying at Thane Police School.

Panchal started programming when he was in class 7 with Q BASIC and C++in his school. In May 2017, he took his first step in Android Development and Java language. In fact, he started learning code from Youtube and ever helpful Stack Overflow. “They helped me whenever I faced any errors or complications in my Java programming. As I was not aware of exam procedure , Mr. Jeffy Lazar , a Senior Associate Android developer , guided me about the exam procedure which meant to be very helpful for me,” he said.

In less than a year’s time, Panchal has created as many as  10 apps. At present it’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is keeping Panchal busy.
