Telangana BJP media cell convenor Sudhakara sarma lambasted state government for its failure in the timely procurement of grain from farmers.
Adderssing media, Sarma said hoping procurement the farmers had been waiting in the marketyards 20 days and nobody had showed up to look into their problems.
Stating that the farmers were badly hit by the unseasonal rains in the state, the BJP leader alleged the lack of concern for farmer had been the hallmark of the TRS government.
He demanded that chief minister should immediately intervene and diret the officials to procure the grain from farmers.
As any rain is bound to further affect the grain in the marketyards, Sarma urged the state to provide necessary arrangements for the farmers and grain in yards.
